Akai S-1000 OS – Final OS Revision Version: v4.4
Firmware revision 4.4 is the latest released operating system issued by Akai. This operation system update/upgrade requires two eprom chips as revealed in the article`s photos and the chips will be labeled to help you locate the correct chip socket. For more info, please check below.

Installation:
The eprom chips are in sockets, so you swap the current chip located at IC9 and IC10
