This is firmware update 2.01 and is an official released operation system by Roland. This operation system update/upgrade requires one eprom chip as revealed in the eBay article`s photos and the chips will be labeled to help you locate the correct chip socket. For more info, please check below.

There is no information about firmware revisions for Studio-400. There could be devices with OS 2.00 or lower, but sadly no changelogs has been published therefore no documentation about the changes from 1.00 to 2.01
