Emu SP-12 Firmware Turbo OS upgrade Version 2.6 – Final Revision
This is firmware revision 2.6 Turbo and is the latest official released operation system by E-mu Systems. This operation system update/upgrade requires two eprom chips.
Features/improvements:
There is a list of the known bugs, which Emu fixed from version 2.5. Example the “memory loss bug” (please see pictures for more information)
Installation:
The two eprom chips, which need to be swapped, are located near the power supply. (See attached article picture)
Note:
- Fully verified before shipping and professionally packaged in anti-static material.
- A = Left socket, B2 = right socket
- Please don’t replace B1 with B2, if you already have B1 installed. This will turn out in strange machine behavior.
