Intention:

Mono Tanz provided firmware and floppy emulators updates for Drum machines, Synthesizers, Samplers and other Music equipment for many years, both on Reverb and eBay worldwide. We have reached a point, where it is no longer worth to run a store selling USB floppy emulators on portals like Reverb and eBay, as these websites has been widely affected with local, European and international regulations to make the administration burden and existence absurd. We still want to ensure, that end-users still have the ability to enjoy their devices, therefore is availability & knowledge very important.

This is how it works:

After the order, you will receive the needed instructions incl the digital content and configuration. At this point, you only need to obtain a core Gotek Floppy emulator and flash it with the system called “Flashfloppy” as the original Factory firmware is not very tweakable.

Most of the pre-configured/build devices found by crook-stores on eBay or Reverb, mass-buy stocks/batches of these Gotek devices very cheap, directly from the Gotek factory [You can do that too, if desired] and pushes the price to the highest possible price-point. [They don’t want, that you know this!]

⸎ USB-stick, Gotek Floppy Emulator and device is not included. [Download only]

⸎ You will need to obtain a Gotek Floppy Emulator and flash it with the software Flashfloppy [https://github.com/keirf/flashfloppy/], the floppy emulator can normally be found cheap on eBay, Amazon or AliExpress for 15-20€ pr. unit as base model.

⸎ Some Gotek models may vary in revisions, so minor tweaks could be required. [This can all be done with a simple notepad]

⸎ You will also find the “readme”, which Monotanz attached with his own installations. This can be helpful in regard to troubleshooting.
