Mono Tanz provided firmware updates for Drum machines, Synthesizers, Samplers and other Music equipment for many years, both on Reverb and eBay worldwide. We have reached a point, where it is no longer worth to run a store selling eproms with firmware, on portals like Reverb and eBay, as these websites has been widely affected with local, European and international regulations to make the administration burden and existence absurd. We still want to ensure, that end-users still have the ability to update their devices, therefore is availability & knowledge very important.

This is how it works:

1. After the order you will receive the Binary incl. the instructions of what Eprom(s) types you need per download link.
2. You can place an order with the binary at an online-burning service, like buyicnow.com or use your own Eprom burner.

Above will not only give you a lower price point, but also higher quality than any crook-store found on eBay or Reverb etc..

Introduction:

This is firmware update 3.01 and 4.00, these are the official released operation systems by Lexicon. The operation system updates/upgrades requires three eproms.

Which software version is my Lexicon MRC running?

To check your current software version, simply turn on your MRC and the software version will appear briefly during the startup process.

Lexicon MRC Version 3.01 introduction:

The V3.01 MRC Eprom was an update for Version 1 and Version 2 users, which allowed for dedicated control of the Lexicon LXP-1, LXP-5, PCM70, as well as being an awesome all around General Midi Controller for practically any other device. When Version 4.0 was released, support for the Lexicon PCM70 was limited considerably, as the 4.0 software was geared heavily towards use with the LXP-15.

Lexicon MRC Version 4.00 introduction:

Version 4.0 was released, support for the Lexicon PCM70 was limited considerably, as the 4.0 software was geared heavily towards use with the LXP-15.

• Upgrading from 1.0 or 2.0 may require a light modification for the new decoding. (Necessary modification instructions are included)
