Lexicon MRC Version 3.01 introduction:
The V3.01 MRC Eprom was an update for Version 1 and Version 2 users, which allowed for dedicated control of the Lexicon LXP-1, LXP-5, PCM70, as well as being an awesome all around General Midi Controller for practically any other device. When Version 4.0 was released, support for the Lexicon PCM70 was limited considerably, as the 4.0 software was geared heavily towards use with the LXP-15.
New Features for users upgrading from Version 1.0 or Version 2.0:
Expanded control of the Lexicon LXP-1, LXP-5, PCM70, and GMIDI.
Features for users “downgrading” from Version 4.0:
Dedicated Remote control of the Lexicon PCM70
