The V2.0 Update was the last software version Lexicon released for the PCM60 and consist of 4 eproms. The update replaced the Plate Setting of Version 1 with the 80’s-inspired Inverse Reverb Setting. This unique sounding reverse reverb defined many records of that era and was favorite snare treatment of many producers. 

New Features for users upgrading from Version 1.0:

– Access to the Inverse Setting which replaces the Plate Setting found in Version 1.0.

– The Room setting is found in both Version 1.0 and Version 2.0.

Which software version is my Lexicon PCM 60 running?

To check your current software version, simply push in the Plate Button on the front panel. If you hear a normal plate type reverb, you are running v1.0 and may want to consider upgrading to v2.0. If you hear a swooshing reverse-esque reverb, you are already running v2.0 and have no need to upgrade.
