Oberheim DPX-1 OS update v 2.2 – Final revision

This is firmware update 2.2 and is the latest official released operation system by Oberheim in 1987. This operation system update / upgrade requires two eprom chips as revealed in the article`s photos and the chips will be labeled to help you locate the correct chip socket. Info about OS:

OS version 2.2 is the latest available for DPX-1. It has many features introduced as well as lot of enhancements for existing ones. It’s mandatory for newer units with HDX interface and Individual voice out expansion but also great value for old units allowing filter control, import / export DPX images and HxC floppy emulator upgrade
