Roland DEP-5 Version 1.6 – Final Revision

This firmware update version 1.6 which was the latest official released operation system by Roland in September 1986. This operation system update/upgrade requires two eprom chips.

How to check your current Software Rom version:

Hold [MIDI] and [VALUE], while you power device.

Features/improvements:

• Bug fix – Should the footswitch plugged in Preset jack be pressed while in a mode (such as Copy) accompanied by flashing display, the pedal will not allow the unit to exist that mode, keep display flashing.
• Bug fix – When the unit has been turned off while in ALG1 mode, re-applying power lets the unit sound louder than before.
