Roland U-220 firmware OS upgrade v 1.02
This is firmware revision 1.02 and is an official released operation system by Roland in 1990. This operation system update/upgrade requires one eprom chip.
To check current OS version:
- Press [Jump] and [VALUE ↑] simultaneously.
- Press [Enter], while pressing [MARK] and [JUMP]
Features/improvements:
- OS 1.02 provided general stability to the midi communication and correction to the main system.
- Modified demo song.
- Fixed a bug with velocity on the acoustic and electric piano tones
Note:
- The chip socket is located at IC8
- Verified before shipping and professionally packaged in anti-static material
