We still want to ensure, that end-users still have the ability to update their devices, therefore is availability & knowledge very important.

1. After the order you will receive the Binary incl. the instructions of what Eprom(s) types you need per download link.
2. You can place an order with the binary at an online-burning service, like buyicnow.com or use your own Eprom burner.

Firmware version 1.10 for the SQ-1 Plus is an official final-release from Ensoniq

Key Features and Improvements:

• Aside from unlocking the ability to expand your synthesizer’s sequencer memory (from a baseline of roughly 9,000 notes to 30,000+ notes), the v1.10 ROM chips provide critical under-the-hood stability improvements.

 

Note:

Firmware 1.10 is uniquely coded for the SQ-1 Plus architecture. If you try to install this on the older, original 21-voice SQ-1 (which lacks the “Plus” label), you must use the older v1.01 chips instead.Hardware Requirement: To actually gain more sequencer storage, you must have an SQX-70 cartridge physically installed in the expansion slot along with the 1.10 chips.
