this is an Universal Midi Retrofit Board.

Why did you make it?

Because I needed it myself and realized during my searching that the availability to get these boards was non-existing.

What makes it special?

The UMR2 can be used to add MIDI input and output functionality to a wide range of non-velocitysensitive keyboards. This is a MIDI retrofit for vintage synths that use a matrix keyboard system.
