Intention:

Mono Tanz provided firmware updates for Drum machines, Synthesizers, Samplers and other Music equipment for many years, both on Reverb and eBay worldwide. We have reached a point, where it is no longer worth to run a store selling eproms with firmware, on portals like Reverb and eBay, as these websites has been widely affected with local, European and international regulations to make the administration burden and existence absurd. We still want to ensure, that end-users still have the ability to update their devices, therefore is availability & knowledge very important.

This is how it works:

1. After the order you will receive the Binary incl. the instructions of what Eprom(s) types you need per download link.
2. You can place an order with the binary at an online-burning service, like buyicnow.com or use your own Eprom burner.

Above will not only give you a lower price point, but also higher quality than any crook-store found on eBay or Reverb etc..

 

Introduction – Features: TI5

• MIDI channel range initial value was incorrect.
• The code that checked the Sequence mode bit was checking the wrong bit, so this mode bit would not have worked.
• The code that checked the Sync mode bit was checking the wrong bit, so it was not possible to enable MIDI ARP clocking.
• The code for MIDI ARP clocking had an issue where the clock would start skipping at anything faster than about 130 beats per minute. The arpeggiator can run much faster than this, so it was just a problem with the MIDI clock code. I changed the code to fix this problem. Now it can run much faster with MIDI clocking.
• The code that sent out “active sensing” MIDI messages has been disabled. Disabling it leaves more CPU time for other things.
• The MIDI code that turned on and off OMNI mode when certain CC’s were received was turning off the wrong bit.

• Bugfix – Voice assignment order to a simple rotation. The original code was always using voice 1 if only one key was pressed at a time. This meant that notes with long sustain were cut off by the next note.
• Improved Rotary scan.
• Moved the Filter Sustain pot to the “fast” group, so it is scans much faster than before.
