1. After the order you will receive the Binary incl. the instructions of what Eprom(s) types you need per download link.
2. You can place an order with the binary at an online-burning service, like buyicnow.com or use your own Eprom burner.

Introduction:

If you want to fix your timing issues with your TR-909, this is the way to go! V4 of the TR-909 OS fixes all of the timing issues that plague most machines and this consist of one chip.

This firmware solves the TR-909’s sequencer lag and loss of synchronization when playing internal patterns or tracks when slaved to the incoming MIDI clock, which is very disappointing and can make recording sessions tough ! If you ever tried to slave your 909 to MIDI clock, you probably already know whether it responds correctly or not. If it does not, then this firmware update will fix it and enable you to take full advantage of your 909’s MIDI capabilities.

How to check current version:

power it up while holding the “Track 1” button. One of the four first step buttons will light up, showing the current version of the firmware (1-4).

• Upgrading your machine takes some solder work, but once you have it installed you can be assured that your TR-909 is functioning as it should.
• Providers who states that only the brand Mitsubishi is compatible is inaccurate and means that the seller lack the basic knowledge of Eprom terminology. [Watch-out for these misconceptions]
