Mono Tanz provided firmware updates for Drum machines, Synthesizers, Samplers and other Music equipment for many years, both on Reverb and eBay worldwide. We have reached a point, where it is no longer worth to run a store selling eproms with firmware, on portals like Reverb and eBay, as these websites has been widely affected with local, European and international regulations to make the administration burden and existence absurd. We still want to ensure, that end-users still have the ability to update their devices, therefore is availability & knowledge very important.

This is how it works:

1. After the order you will receive the Binary incl. the instructions of what Eprom(s) types you need per download link.
2. You can place an order with the binary at an online-burning service, like buyicnow.com or use your own Eprom burner.

Above will not only give you a lower price point, but also higher quality than any crook-store found on eBay or Reverb etc..

Introduction:

This is firmware update 2.20 and is the latest known released operation system by Klark Teknik. This operation system update/upgrade requires one eprom chip.

Features/improvements:

This new firmware update includes fundamental changes to the operation and substantial improvements in reverberation quality of the DN780. All four basic reverberation program types now have totally separate and newly developed algorithms which produce a full range of reverb styles, all featuring lower coloration, wide stereo image, and the Big” reverb sound now essential for main house reverb.

Similar improvements have been applied to the “alive” non lin, Reverse and Infinite room programs.

• Revision 2.20 update is intended to iron out any remaining bugs affecting general stability and improve performance within the firmware code.
• Improved Reverb algorithms
• Ability to use the MIDI serial board [If you have this installed], allows any memory store in the DN780 to be recalled automatically by the MIDI voice select command.

Note:

If you device is pre-2.XX, then you need to move the jumper on ST9.
